The museum right in the middle of the historical centre of Hameln is housed in the wooden-framed "Stiftsherrenhaus" and the "Leisthaus" with their Weser-Renaissance style architecture. Its exhibitions present: • the legend of the Pied Piper • the history of Hameln • coin-making Further collections and exhibitions include: • shipping on the river Weser • glassware made in Lauenstein • pewter figures • military history • arts and crafts: pottery from Hameln Opening hours: Tuesdays to Sundays: 10.00 am - 4.30 pm Closed on Mondays and certain bank holidays Admission: Adults: 3 EUR Children up to 12 years and members of groups: 1.50 EUR
